Senior Night - University of Jamestown Jimmies vs UMary.  Gates will open 1 hour prior to game time.  

The holder of a ticket to this event voluntarily assumes all risks of property loss and personal injury arising during its use. Management may revoke the license and eject or refuse entry to the holder by refunding the stated purchase price. The holder agrees that the University of Jamestown and its agents, the NSIC and its agents, the NAIA and its agents, the NCAA and its agents and the participants are not liable for injuries resulting from attendance at this event. The holder agrees that alcoholic beverages in any form shall not be allowed to be sold, dispersed or brought into the public area of this event.

Welcome to the Jimmie Flag Football League! Our league is designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of football in a fun, safe, and non-contact environment. Whether your child is new to the game or looking to improve their skills, our league offers an engaging experience for all skill levels.

Why Play Flag Football?

  • Non-Contact Fun: Players focus on agility, strategy, and teamwork without the risks of tackle football.
  • Skill Development: Learn throwing, catching, running, and defensive techniques tailored for young players.
  • Teamwork & Sportsmanship: Emphasis on building friendships, working together, and playing with integrity.
  • Exercise & Activity: Flag football promotes physical activity while having blast outdoors.

League Overview

  • Ages: Open to students entering grades K-6
  • Season Duration: April 27th, 2025 – June 22nd, 2025
  • Practice/Game Days: Sundays, 12:30pm- 5pm depending on age 
    • 30 min practice followed by 1 hour games
  • Location: Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium
  • Registration Fee: $200 (includes jersey, flags, and team equipment)
    • 2 players- $350
    • 3 players- $500


What to Bring

  • Athletic clothing (shorts or pants without pockets).
  • Athletic shoes or cleats (no metal cleats allowed).
  • Water bottle for hydration.

Jimmie Baseball Camp will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 for students Grades 1st through 12th.   The camp will be broken up into 2 groups.  

Grades 7-12 will have camp from 9am to 1pm.  

Grades 1st through 6th will have camp from 1pm to 5pm. 

Cost is $60 per camper. 

Deadline to sign up for camp is Saturday,  March 8th, 2025.

Description: Leading from Within is an interactive, 12-week personal development course designed to help participants connect with their core values and behaviors, discover their personal strengths, increase their self-awareness, establish personal accountability, engender trust with others, and increase their decision-making and collaboration skills.

Participants will develop their leadership skills in three ways: (1) interactive classroom education, (2) behavioral development application activities, (3) peer interaction and problem solving.

Professor Biography:

Mallard Owen, Ph.D., has more than thirty years of diverse senior leadership expertise, having launched new businesses, nurtured startups, guided non-profits, and transformed struggling organizations. Central to Mal’s success has been building strong teams, creating winning strategic alliances, providing an outstanding work environment, maximizing existing resources, and leveraging innovative technologies and information systems. Importantly for sustainable success, he believes that “how you get there” is as important as “what you achieve.”

Mal’s leadership and consulting talents have led him to work across a wide range of organizations in fields such as health/wellness, information technology, hospitality, arts and culture, legal, government/defense contractors, and executive search. Mal is active in non-profit service and professional organizations in the areas of community service, workforce development, and business performance. One of Mal’s most cherished activities in the Washington, DC, area was his five-year role as the co-leader of one of the largest, non-profit career support groups in the U.S. Recognized for its accomplishments by the U.S. Department of Labor, the group’s success led to his being invited multiple times by two Secretaries of Labor to provide his insights in focus groups and participate in special events hosted at the White House.
