Eligibility = Entering 7th Grade - 12th Grade

What to Expect
- Distance running training theory
- A jumpstart on summer xc training
- Gain knowledge & appreciation for the sport of distance running
- Exposure to trail running at a variety of local trails
- Time outdoors & in nature
- Some topics covered in classroom & training sessions - Habits Development, Mental/Emotional Preparation, Recovery/Lifestyle Guidance, Posture/Movement/Mobility Preparation, Running Mechanics Guidance, Warmup/Cooldown Routines, etc.
- Camp t-shirt included
Note – We will accommodate most levels of ability & training capacity, but should arrive at camp able to run at least 3-4 miles, once per day!
What to Bring
- Running Shoes (2 pairs if possible - may get wet or muddy - racing flats optional)
- Running Apparel (prepare for a variety of conditions, including cold!)
- Casual Clothes (again, prepare for a variety of conditions, including rain and cold!)
- Running Watch
- Water Bottle
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Toiletries and Shower Supplies (shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, towel, etc.)
- Bedding (sheets, blanket, sleeping bag, pillow, etc.)
- Snacks
- Spending Money

Dorm Location = TBD
- Campers stay in residence halls on UJ’s campus. During the camp, campers are not permitted to leave campus unless prior arrangements have been made with the camp director, or in case of an emergency.
